Footie Fit is Nashville’s only soccer-specific performance lab—where elite coaching meets cutting-edge technology to build faster, stronger, more explosive athletes (based in Franklin, serving the greater Nashville area). We specialize in SPEED, AGILITY, PLIABILITY and long-term development for the modern game.

Every athlete begins with a baseline assessment of speed, agility, strength, explosiveness, and endurance using velocity-based training, reactive timing systems, and power testing—so we measure what matters and train with purpose.

Choose the format that fits: Private Training (1-on-1) for targeted, rapid gains; Small Group Training (2–6 athletes) for competition, coaching, and value; and Group Classes for structured development by stage. Each path is precision-tuned to position and season, blending speed mechanics, reactive agility, plyometrics, strength, mobility, and conditioning to build durable, match-ready players.

The Playbook - 3 Ways to Train

  • 1-on-1 Private Training

    Private Training (1-on-1) is built for targeted, rapid improvement. Each session is individualized to your goals, position, and season, and starts with baseline testing (10m/30m sprint, jump, agility) to set clear targets. We build a custom, periodized plan—pre-season, in-season, or off-season—and coach with high-feedback sessions, video cueing, and simple take-home drills. Training focuses on acceleration and max-velocity mechanics; change of direction and safe deceleration; age-appropriate strength and power; and mobility/stability for injury prevention, with conditioning matched to your position’s demands. We track progress throughout, and Footie Fit+ members also receive quarterly reports. The result: a faster first step and higher top speed, sharper cuts under pressure, better durability, and conditioning that holds up late in matches. 

  • Small Group Training

    Small Group Training blends competition, coaching, and value—without losing personalization. Train with teammates or friends in groups of 2–6 so every rep counts. Each session follows a proven flow: warm-up and activation, plyometrics, acceleration and max-velocity mechanics, change-of-direction/reactive agility, a power/strength circuit, then a purposeful finisher and cooldown. Programming is periodized for pre-season, in-season, and off-season, and low coach-to-athlete ratios ensure individualized cues throughout. You’ll build game-speed movement, safe deceleration, positional power, and the repeat-sprint capacity that holds up late in matches. Expect quicker reads, sharper cuts under pressure, improved robustness with fewer preventable setbacks, and the team chemistry that elevates effort. 

  • Group Classes

    Our group classes are designed around long-term athletic development, blending speed, agility, plyometrics, strength, mobility, and soccer-specific movement, with volume and intensity scaled to each athlete’s stage of development. Early stages focus on building movement quality — refining acceleration and deceleration mechanics, coordination, footwork, low-impact plyometrics, core and hip stability, and strong training habits. As athletes advance, the emphasis shifts to foundational strength with technique-first lifts, controlled change-of-direction and reactive agility work, progressive plyometrics, growth-aware load management, and conditioning for repeat sprints. Higher levels target game-speed performance, emphasizing max-velocity mechanics, power and strength for robustness, conditioning that aligns with competitive demands, and recovery and nutrition strategies. For elite athletes, programming pushes high-performance outputs through speed profiling, individualized force–velocity–power development, reactive agility under fatigue, and in-season micro-dosing to optimize performance and support return-to-play protocols. Programming is periodized across pre-, in-, and off-season, with testing and quarterly progress reports available through Footie Fit+.

Zlatko, turned the gaps he faced as a player into a soccer-specific system that gives athletes the tools he didn’t have. With 10+ years of training experience, and a foundation in exercise science, he pairs baseline testing with data-driven, hands-on coaching to help you train smarter, get faster, and stay durable—so progress shows up on match day.

He specializes in turning data into decisions, using velocity-based training, reactive timing systems, and power testing to pinpoint exactly what limits your speed and prescribe the progressions that move the needle. Unlike generic speed-and-agility coaches, his soccer-specific model is periodized by position and season, with measurable checkpoints and clear coaching so gains transfer to game speed when it counts.


CAROL VIEIRA COACH (CSCS)

Carol brings a player’s eye and a scientist’s mindset to every session. Originally from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, she played collegiate soccer at Western Nebraska CC and Cumberland University before earning her B.S. in Exercise Science (Cumberland, 2022). Now pursuing an M.S. in Exercise Physiology at MTSU and holding the CSCS credential, she blends evidence-based programming with real on-field experience. At Footie Fit, Carol leverages baseline testing and tools like velocity-based training, reactive timing, and power profiling to target the qualities that decide matches—acceleration, safe deceleration, strength/power, and repeat-sprint capacity. Her coaching is clear, encouraging, and relentlessly technical, so athletes leave with precise cues, smarter habits, and measurable gains. Ready to convert work into game speed?
